What if a building could help students and faculty cross paths throughout the day?
The Dorfman Center will do just that. An intuitive design will make this 27,000-square-foot building approachable and easy to navigate. And for the first time ever, classrooms, faculty offices and collaboration spaces for the School of Management will all be under one roof.
The Steven D. Dorfman Center
This new hub will inspire active learning, community building, collaboration, innovation and entrepreneurship.
By the numbers
Step into our community
Natural light will spill in through a large open foyer. A grand lecture hall will
seat over 70. Classrooms spread across two floors will create an environment buzzing
with movement. And that's just the start.
Access to faculty
Some faculty offices will be clustered near classrooms; others will line an open corridor dotted with student work stations.
A modern learning space
Flexible furniture means classrooms can be reconfigured to accommodate a lecture or break-out groups.
Engaging the community
A community room will foster collaboration, doubling as an event space for vital networking opportunities.
Stories of success
Environmental graphics throughout the center will bring to life the stories of our most distinguished students, alumni and donors.
